- Apparently there is a bug in Internet Exploder and one must first click anywhere on the map to make
the controls appear. (Stupid!)
- When you click on the - button in the map's zoom and position controls (upper left corner),
the map will redraw one step less magnified. Each time you click the - button (or move the
zoom slider control down, away from the center of the control section) your view will move further out
into space showing more of the area, but with less detail.
- To move your view closer in: Click on the + button (at the top of the zoom slider
control) or move the slider up, toward the center of the control.
- If you click your mouse on two points a straight line will be drawn between
the two selected spots and the distance (in kilometers) between the two will be shown below the map. (Just
below the actual longitude and latitude of the map's center.)
- While measuring distances you may remove a pointer by clicking on it once more. Or, to measure other than
straight line distances just click on each desired turn point until arriving at your destination. To remove
any point simply single click on its marker.
